An intro + Id(entifying) I(interior) D(esign) in Antti + Vuokko Nurmesniemi's Helsinki home.
Hello and welcome to this first instalment of idid! Often on Instagram the comments section calls for the ID’ing (a word?) of pieces in a picture. This newsletter will be a weekly (fingers crossed) look into these, where to shop, and eventually, suggestions to shop similar. And maybe an odd extra feature here and there.

First and foremost, Antti + Vuokko Nurmesniemi are designers. This may be an apparent ID, but everything within their home, they had a hand in. Vuokko is a textile designer, best known for her work at Marimekko. Antti, an interior architect, furniture and product designer. Their Kulosaari home and studio is a fusion of the two’s work together. From 28th October 2022 – 9th April 2023 Helsinki Design Museum opened it to the public — and it has graced our screens from there forth.
